Some advice from CAPO MARTINEZ  ;)

1- Define your sound in words !

Bass, Groove, Emotion and Dance able.

2- What advice you give to the Djs that started releasing a lot of tracks with out being secure of their sound yet ?

Its important that take your time to find your own unique sound before starting to release. It is obviously very tempting to release your music, and today there is many platforms and possibilities to do it. However in the long run its better to be more selective and find the right platform for your music and sound. It will last much longer and you will be a strong and more unique name in the music business.

3- Again one for novice producers! For you whats the best way to gain respect into the electronic music scene ?

To be humble and friendly, be consistent with delivering quality music, doing your best and doing it with passion and for the love of the music.

4- How have you managed to make that strong linearity of EPS, balancing the creation process, in other words, how much time are you in the studio, and how much time you take to say that something is ready to be out, have you ever saved tracks in a ¨inspiring time¨ for later ?

I work in the studio as much as possible, I try to go every day when I am home. I usually don’t spend too much time on one track, if it has the groove and the idea I make it in one day. Then I test it in the club and usually finalise it in a week or so when you’ve had a bit of distance to the track and hear it with more objective ears again.

5- What do you think of Charts ? They are useful to geT awareness and followers… they are bad for?

I think charts are in general pretty pointless. Its better when DJ’s and music lovers dig and discover music for themselves, it creates more unique styles and personal DJ’s. But of course a chart can be help as you say to create some awareness about certain music and push upcoming artists with real talent etc. I do a chart ever now and then, but its not something that I think is very important. In the end its better to play the music to people, you create much better awareness that way, I think.

6- Whats the most time you have wait to release a track ?

Usually I wait between 4 month to 6 month. But I have released tracks that where two years old on my last album.

7- To end add a word in front of each concept:
