ENTREVISTA Exclusiva: Charles Siegling aka Technasia Dj Set (Interview)

1- Where did u born and when your electronic musical taste started?
I was born in paris france in 1974 and it started with 1984 when my father
took my to see depeche mode live. I was a great fac of their music during
the 80s and early 90s. With the advent of techno and acid house sound in
early 90s I totally started to get into the clubbing and dj scene and never
left it since then.

> 2- When was the first time you saw Amyl Khan?

In hong kong in 1995. I was on a holiday trip there and met him thri some
common friends.

> 3- How would you define your country influences?
Well, of course laurent garnier has been and big influence for me and great
leading hero for electronic music in france. I’ve been going to his parties
since 1992 or so.

> 4- Who made the name?
Amil’s sister

> 5- How do you work toghether? what do you prefer: a solo-work or a group
> work?

I used to prefer group work but since amil has now other activities in his
life outside of the music world, he cannot make himself so much available as
before to make music together. So I would say that I prefer solo work now.

> 6- Techno of the future or future of the techno?
Music is a constant cycle, so both of these formulas work for me.

> 7- What do you feel about your Colombian Visits?
To tell you the truth, I played twice in cartagena, and twice the police
stopped the party I cannot say about club parties in colombia since I
never had one there. That’s why im looking forward this coming Friday in
medellin. Aside music, I love colombian langostas
