1/ What is the biggest gift that electronic music have gave to you?
That’s a tough question.. Having started out listening to electronic music as a little kid and later pursuing it as a career, it has occupied some of my highest emotional moments as both a spectator and participant. Being an artist was always an idea I liked growing up. Making music has allowed me to get very close to that idea. It has brought me closer to people I would not have contact with, afforded me freedom to explore my own personal aesthetic and blown my mind with fresh sensations time and time again. It’s been a pretty joyful relationship, despite some uninspired moments.
2/ What is the most important thing to have a life? not a just living
I agree with that statement. Life is a gift. It’s an even bigger gift to find an interest you are passionate about and that lets you grow while pursuing it. Not many people are able to make a living with their passions these days. And it’s a battle to make time for these pleasures. Personally, if a person can live a life that is full and multifaceted, they are stepping closer to creating a healthy, happy existence. That’s my opinion.
3/ What beign a dj have teached you , differences between your Live “solo/sounds” feeling and hybrid “new/2011” style?
Including other people’s music in my set is a bit like stepping back to my roots. However, I bring forward the techniques and personalized style I have developed while playing live the last 8 years. Being spontaneous, offering a wider sound palette and a different merging of styles and sounds are some of the qualities that excite me playing this way. It continues to be a learning experience and a great way to excite a crowd!
4/ Being an established artist how are u managing the producer quota in a flooded market, lately we are founding works with artists and labels that u have never worked before.
What we can spect in this new period of your producer life ?
It seems to me that each year offers a new crop of young stars and an unlimited stream of releases, mixes of genres and flashbacks to styles from the past. Like every industry today things have become extremely competitive. The internet and rise of cheap production programs have allowed anyone to get their ideas out there. I don’t release a lot of material into the market. When I do I make sure that it sounds the best that it possibly can, that it reflects me as an artist and not sound like anyone else. I plan to release more types of music, on Minus, as well as my own label and the label of friends around the word. It’s time to get more stuff out there!
5/ Funky and drama? do you feel as a dramatic person, sensible, histerical, creepy or just a funky combination of all those!
I am not a very dramatic person. I tend to be more mellow and even in my disposition. When it comes to music, I get bored when it lacks personality, so the more the merrier!
