El joven astro de Detroit Kyle Hall y el británico, drum-machine-obsessive Funkineven; preparan una esencial colaboración. La cual ya había sido desplegada en un tiempo atrás con se EP debut: “Night/Dusk” , un celebrado primer 12″.“Ignorant/In the Grid” es la próxima y segunda entrega de su proyecto como FunkinEvil. Según la nota de prensa, el EP de 4 cortes se define como: “super raw serious synthesizer machine soul mastered from warm Reel to Reel tape to Detroit Virgin Vinyl”.
El propio capo de Wild Oats ha hablado además de la relación de ambos artistas en el estudio:“If I’m working with Stevie (FunkinEven), I jump on the keyboards and start playing some stuff, and he makes sense of what I play – so it allows me a lot more freedom in my mind, to just be an instrument sometimes. You just start to see different personalities emerging”.
